How lucky can a kitten be?

This great little kitty image came from Marla Shega at Squigglefly. I like coloring her images because they already are shaded. I hadn't been to Squigglefly's blog in awhile but am happy I happened up on it today. There is a great story there about a little kitten named Lucky who was born with a birth defect and needs surgery. Squigglefly is donating all their profits this month to that great cause.
The sentiment When in doubt wear Red comes from TLC Creations .

Daffodils and cupcakes

Last week I made my card for the Designed 2 Delight weekly challenge, but forgot to add my link to her website. Hence no freebie for me this week. Faith's images are well worth the money to buy them so it was no big deal for me. I love daffodils and will use this image again. I used the Out of the box technique twice with spellbinders dies. Quite out of necessity though, because I messed up the coloring so badly I had to cut around the pot, but I was determined to save this image!! The sentiment is one I bought at Stampfest but don't remember which company.

The cupcake card is also from D2D over at Crafter's Digital Arts Center and is a freebie for entering the Other Themes challenge to mix two or more different prints of designer paper. I haven't done much using the different papers together but it is simple when you buy the paper stacks. All the paper goes together! Is that cheating?? I love cupcake images so this is another one I will use!

Designed 2 Delight's Appliqued Tree

I thought I would have problems with this image, but it is perfect for paper piecing. I printed the image off on a calendar page and then pieced the image with different designer papers.

A week spent making cards

I spent a week with my good friend in Fl and after going to Stampfest in Clearwater we spent 5 whole days making cards. It was such a good break for me and I came home feeling like a million dollars (although after Stampfest my net worth is much less than that now. LOL) The first two images are colored with watercolors and the last two are done with copics.

Spring is near!

This image makes me know that spring is just around the corner. This is Kaela, a new image from Designed 2 Delight. I got this image for $1 for playing in last week's challenge. Every Friday I look forward to having a new image show up in my mailbox. Although I have not been a fan of the "mouthless" images, I have quite a fondness for little Kaela!

Big Heart Kitty

The only challenge I routinely enter is the weekly challenge at Designed 2 Delight. I love anything with kitties so this was a sweet image for me to use. I have made more Valentine cards this year than I ever have so hopefully I have enough to send

For the Birds Snowman

Another great image from Designed 2 Delight. I love the sweet snowman feeding the little bird. Snowmen are fun to use all winter long, but just on cards. I personally don't care a thing in the world about having enough snow to make one for real! It is times like this I like living in Tennessee and not in the midwest!
