Ladybug Bloom card

I decided to do something totally different with the Designed2Delight image this week. I put Tim Holtz tissue paper strips on cardstock and then printed the image on it. Copics work, but they have to be the dark colors or they don't show up. The rectangle die is one of my new ones from Spellbinders, the background paper from Tim Holtz, the sentiment Stampin Up and the flower is from Hobby Lobby. I am very happy with the way this one turned out.

Guest Designer

It is kind of exciting for me to be asked to be a guest designer this week at the Designed 2 Delight Challenge Blog. Tomorrow a new challenge will be posted. This week's image is a precious jar with ladybugs.

This is the Poppy image I have had for some time-very simple and versatile. I used a Spellbinders die and my new decorative paper pack from K & Company.

Here is Caring Kaela and is one of Faith's newest images. She has the mouthless version as well, but I prefer the sweet little smiling one. The sentiment is from D2D also.

Angel Caroline

Another precious image from Designed 2 Delight! She was fun to color and I wanted to give the card a more vintage look by using that particular background paper. I used a sentiment from TLC Creations and just realized she is an angel and not a fairy! Those terms are sort of interchangeable, are they not??

Show it off Saturday at TLC

These are all cards I have done using Paulette's images and sentiments. The first is the Vintage Mercedes that I made that for my SIL for his birthday. The second uses the sentiment from the Love Ewe set and the little ewe image is from Designed2Delight. The last one is Dressing Up Vintage and one of my favorites. It is a great image for me to practice my copic coloring for class at Color Me Creative.
Happy Saturday to everyone.

The early bird gets the..............

Lucky shamrock! This is this month's free image over at Designed2Delight. I think I will make another card with this image, but this time color him blue. I chose the paper then colored the boots then had to make the bird coordinate, What fashionable blue bird would wear turquoise boots? None I know! A wren though would wear these boots proudly. It is another beautiful spring day here and Louie, Belle and I are enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
